RP HISTORY & MISSION

Rural Projects was founded in 2007 with an operational hiatus 2015 - 2016. Artists and spouses Greg Lock and Sarah Anderson Lock serve as Artistic and Executive Directors, respectively.

Rural Projects is a rural workspace and residency program for artists who utilize or address technology in their work. RP provides a bucolic backdrop for a period of focused studio practice, site-specific work and occasional public exhibition opportunities.
