RP HISTORY & MISSION

Rural Projects was founded in 2007 with an operational hiatus 2015 - 2016. Artists and spouses Greg Lock and Sarah Anderson Lock serve as Artistic and Executive Directors, respectively.

Rural Projects is a rural workspace and residency program for artists who utilize or address technology in their work. RP provides a bucolic backdrop for a period of focused studio practice, site-specific work and occasional public exhibition opportunities.

We are in the process of updating our website. Navigate to the PROJECTS page to view past Bartering Residents and their projects. Click here for Greg’s and Sarah’s biographies.
